Privacy Policy

DarkHorseFantasy (“BULLDAWG”, “we”, “us”) is an in-game fantasy football management platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

In-game currency is not real money

“Treasury” is a virtual in-game currency used for auctions, loans, bets, upgrades, and other gameplay. Treasury has no real-money value, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be exchanged for cash or prizes, and is not connected to any real-money payment. DarkHorseFantasy is a game, not a gambling or real-money wagering service.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address and display name, and authentication handled by our hosting platform (including OAuth providers such as Google when you choose them).
• Game data: leagues, teams, rosters, lineups, trades, loans, bets, powerballs, and in-game Treasury balances you create while playing.
• Local storage: cached player, rating, ADP, and schedule data stored in your browser to reduce repeated downloads.
• Usage data: standard request logs maintained by our hosting platform for security and reliability.

Third-party providers

We retrieve publicly available data from third parties to power the game. We do not sell or share your private data with them. These include:

• Sleeper — NFL player rosters, projections, and stats.
• ESPN — live NFL scores and schedules.
• Google Sheets — community Madden-style player ratings.
• ADP providers (e.g., FantasyCalc, Fantasy Football Calculator) — average draft position data.
• Google — optional sign-in via OAuth.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and access credentials are removed. To protect shared league history (standings, matchups, rosters), your teams and competitive records are anonymized and retained rather than deleted. Data cached in your browser’s local storage remains until you clear it.

Your rights

• Access: view your teams and account info in the app.
• Export: use “Download my data” in your profile to export your teams, trades, loans, bets, and powerballs as a file.
• Delete: delete your account from your profile. Your teams are kept as anonymized league history; your profile and credentials are removed.
• Contact: reach us through the in-app Help Center for access, correction, or deletion requests.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to cache data for performance. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. We do not claim any specific security certification or regulatory compliance.

Children

DarkHorseFantasy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
